How Overnight Times Are Handled
Times are read in 24-hour format. If the end time is earlier than the start time, the calculator assumes the end falls on the following day and adds 24 hours (1,440 minutes). So 18:00 to 02:00 equals 8 hours, and the result is marked "overnight."
