How Times Past Midnight Are Handled
The result is computed in minutes from the start time. If the total runs past 24 hours, it wraps into the next day and is labeled with a day offset - next day, 2 days later, and so on. So 2 hours after 23:30 is 01:30 the next day.
Negative additions work the same way in reverse: 1 hour before 00:30 is 23:30 the previous day. Because the calculation works on clock times rather than full dates, day offsets tell you how many midnights you crossed.
